We’ve all seen the benefits of exercise. Hey, look at Stallone, he’s shirtless and ripping it up as Rambo in his 60′s.

Well, according to a new study, guys who regularly hit the gym exercise more than their muscles.

Truth be told, it’s increased metabolism, that’s responsible for those raging hormones, and the effects were noted mostly in insects, birds and happy little animals that get their love on with extreme consistency.

But researchers say there’s enough evidence to link quick metabolism in animals, and the behaviours that go with it, including regular romps in the hay, with humans.

Dr. Peter Biro, of the University of South Wales, and Judy Stamps of the University of California, Davis, published their findings in a joint article in Trends in Ecology and Evolution.

An indirect link, yes. There’s no conclusive link between exercise and sex drive. But there is evidence linking testosterone and adrenaline to libido. If you’re fit, you’ve got more swimmers. And those little guys are just dyin’ to get out. Kinda like when you’re using Semenax, and paired with muscles.

There’s evidence here, linking guys with muscles to multiple sex partners. In this study, conducted by the University of California Los Angeles, researchers interviewed 99 male undergrads about their sexual histories. Big surprise, the brawny lads got more of the good stuff.

Having said that, it’s not all beer and skittles for muscle men. In the same study, published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, researchers noted that women like the muscular type for short-term fun, but preferred slender men for a long-term relationship.

But it’s food for thought. More muscles mean more sex. Few guys would have a problem with that.
